The Pedorthic Education Alliance is an organization that was created by Pedorthic Educators to provide a forum for Pedorthic Educators, Membership Associations, Vendors, and all Allied Healthcare Professionals interested in Pedorthic Education to collaborate in a harmonious and team spirited way. Our mission is to advance quality outcome based pedorthic education and training globally to potential and practicing pedorthists, other allied healthcare professionals, retailers and the public.

• Provide potential and practicing footwear fitters, pedorthic shoe technicians and certified pedorthists with the skills to offer pedorthic services and techniques in a professional manner

• Train healthcare professionals to utilize Pedorthics in their foot and ankle related protocols

• to realize that we are mechanically designed and respond to external forces in a predictable progressive manner

• Promote an understanding that pedorthic treatment helps improve health and well-being by mechanically aligning the foot and ankle to the body and ground

• to optimize posture, balance, alignment, gait, circulation, energy, and stamina

• to relieve, improve and prevent painful and debilitating musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, congenital, and acquired deformities and disorders

• Implement high standard pedorthic education and training theories, practices and techniques to potential pedorthists, practicing pedorthists and other allied healthcare professionals

• Collaborate in the development of outcome-based interactive multimedia distance learning tools

• Develop consumer education on pedorthic options for delivery to the public
